General Services

•     The nursing staff of the Wayne County Health Department provides many other services to the people of Wayne County besides the clinical and home health services they do on a regular basis. 
   

•     School Health - Our nurses assist the school nurses in providing care to our school children.  They especially assist in providing Hepatitis B vaccinations to 6th graders, a vaccination program in place now for several years.
  
  

•     Health Fairs - Our nursing staff attend local health fairs and provide educational materials to the public and usually will provide blood pressure exams or other screens while at the fairs.
